About Sage

When Ana Dan and her husband, Paul Weber purchased the Hyde Away in 2015, they took over a successful, operating inn and restaurant. They made improvements and made it their own while retaining the rich history of the Inn.

Since they first arrived in the Valley, Ana has had her eye on the property at the corner of Routes 17 & 100 that is now Sage Restaurant. In the Spring of 2018, after building a solid management team at the Hyde Away, Ana saw the stars align in the Mad River Valley and felt it was time for a new restaurant in town.

Sage, by design, is a new dining experience in an historic property. It’s something new to add to the variety of culinary offerings in the Valley. High quality, local ingredients (whenever possible) go into the creative dishes of Head Chef, Ted Brothers and his team.

Join us, for dinner or après ski or just to relax in the casual comfort of our lounge area. Creative cocktails, beer & wine, coffees & desserts and delicious food — all with a taste of the Mediterranean Coast.

In the warmer months, enjoy the evening dining on our deck. We serve our full menu outdoors. The same as in the dining room.
